So maybe right now you’re not feeling so hot…
Truth be told, you’re feeling like crap.
And honestly, you’re so overwhelmed you don’t know what to do. It feels like your world is caving in around you.
You need to know what you can do right now, in this moment.
So you can relax knowing things will get better.
So you have hope.
I’ve got you.
Here are 3 simple, easy steps you can take to begin to naturally ease your depression & overwhelm.
Even if they don’t sound like they’ll help, do them anyway….I’m serious. Because right now, nothing is going to sound like the right solution.
Get off the couch. Walk across the room if that’s all you’ve got. Or walk around the block. Just move. And breath. 30 minutes is ideal if you can, outside and everyday. Start where you are. There’s no rush.
Find support. Be it a counselor, life coach or best friend, or maybe all three, you need at least one go to person who’s got your back, that you can open up to and feel safe with.
Let them be there for you. If the situation was reversed, you wouldn’t hesitate to help your friend would you. And don’t worry about being embarrassed or ashamed to share how you’re feeling. Most of us have been there at one time or another. There is support out there. Please reach out and find it.
Take your time. It’s very easy to feel overwhelmed right now. Stop for a minute and take a slow deep breath…Give yourself the time you need. Slow and steady. For today, pick just one thing that you will do to start feeling better. Just one simple, small thing. It will be enough and it will get better.
Okay, take a deep breath and let it out slowly.
It’s time to get off the couch and get this handled.
Minute by minute, day by day.
It will get better and then life will be amazing.
